Adorable cabin perfectly located in Carnelian Bay with only a 3 minute walk to the beach, and a private hot tub! There are decks in the front and back, the hot tub is on the back deck, beautiful tree views, and a 37" flat screen TV! This wonderful cabin is only 5 minutes to Tahoe City, and 15 minutes from Northstar and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts! Perfect anytime of year!

It is always a pleasure to stay at this cabin. This is our family's 4th time renting this property. It's a cozy place and the Lake Tahoe Accommodations staff is always very helpful and friendly. We look forward to our return!

We had a great time in the little cabin in the woods. We loved the area, the fire pit out back and the hot tub. We would diffinitely go back.

The cabin was really nice , we where 3 couples and it was just enough for our needs, very cozy. Heating system is a bit odd because it is only downstairs so first night was a little chilly, but once it heats the whole house it was ok. Staff at Tahoe Accommodations was very prompt to our needs, thank you. We loved the hot tub and the bbq, and it was very quiet and apart from neighbors. All round great experience.

This house is great. It is small but well appointed. Far enough from the road that road noise is not a problem. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. The bedrooms upstairs are fine but be careful not to bump your head on the pitched ceiling when you wake up or if you lie down too fast. But once you get used to it, it is very comfortable. The bathrooms have been updated and are beautiful. Really great use of space.Hot tub is well maintained as well with clear water and all the functions work. House is really well located too. 8 Minutes to Tahoe City. 30 minutes from Squaw, Alpine, or Northstar. Our family of four has stayed here twice and look forward to coming back again.

This was a charming little spot that slept 4 adults comfortably. You do need to watch your head on the slanted ceiling in bedroom and bathrooms. Hot tub was nice, but remember to get the combo for the lock from the front office when you check in! We had quiet neighbors. The back deck area was open but still felt private-the neighbors aren't right on top of you, and there are trees as well. Front porch gets sun in the morning. Short drive to Kings Beach and Carnelian Bay. Washer and dryer available. Could use a few more towels. We felt is was worth the price.

This is our 2nd time booking this adorable North Tahoe chalet. I cannot rave enough about how perfect this place has been for our family to visit. It is cozy and comfortable with space for everyone. The bathrooms are updated and the family room has a wonderful gas stove the puts out a nice amount of heat. The kitchen is "vintage" and while the electric stove is a relic from a different generation, I actually find it quite charming. The owners put in a dishwasher and very nice fridge so you truly have everything you need to cook wonderful meals. The best part is probably the hot tub in the back yard area. It is the perfect place to unwind after a day of Tahoe fun! We'll be back again!

Property was as advertised, really enjoyed the stay, nice amenities. Had a couple of questions, which were promptly answered.Couple of things which could be included in info package when keys are picked might save some calls and questions. 1. List the code for the lock on the hottub so renters do not have to search for it. 2. Some directions on how garbage disposal works, as majority of renters are probably not familiar with this type of system. 3. A notice that there is no switch for front porch light, it is hardwired with a timer. That would be helpful.- Lake Tahoe Accommodations staff, Posted: 04/10/2018
Great suggestions! We've incorporated some signage to make it a little easier. Thanks for your feedback.

The cabin was so warm and cozy! It was so beautiful to sit out in the hot tub at night. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy enough. The grill came in handy as well. Its a really quiet street and very close to the water and Tahoe City.
Lucy T - Sonoma County, CA
This cabin was clean, easy to find and located close to the lake and it is a short drive to restaurants and stores. It is a quiet location yet there is neighborhood traffic noise, but not too much. The hot tub was huge and so nice to climb into morning and night. The back yard was mostly private and even though it is open sight to neighbors yards, we never saw anybody. The cabin is very comfortable. No weird smells. The front stove top burners are slow to work but the rest of the kitchen is perfect. The angled ceiling in the upstairs bedroom is something to note right away in order to save Ur head, but the rest of the room is so cozy and the bed is very comfortable. This cabin would be my first choice if I stayed in Tahoe again.

We loved everything about this cozy cabin! Everything was clean and worked well. The staff at Lake Tahoe Accommodations was very friendly. The cabin is very close to Tahoe City, which made it very easy to get around. We hope to stay again in the future!

The cabin is small and not fancy, but had everything we needed. Basically an economical yet full featured place. The hot tub was great to come home to. The place was neat and clean, and we had no real problems with anything other than one of the settings on one of the stove burners didn't work (it's an older stove). No big deal though. The only constructive criticism I have is that the small 1st floor bedroom could use bunk beds instead of a double bed. Bunks beds would give more floor space and allow two people to sleep in the room. The current double bed really only fits one person. We had planned to do water sports at Tahoe City, but found the shorelines too rocky, so we spent our time at Kings Beach, which is only about 10 minutes North. They have a nice sand beach and all the water sports you could want. The Lake Tahoe Accommodations personnel were great. I would recommend their services.

We loved it! The house was clean, well appointed and had all of the amenities we needed. No broken lights or fixtures. As usual, the service was great, too. Renting from Tahoe Accommodations is always a pleasure.

Great cabin. The rooms were clean and nicely updated . The kitchen was 70's vintage, but functional. The hot tub was a big bonus. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Very nice cabin! Clean, Cozy - great location. We had a great time!
Candi - Oakland, CA
Really lovely, big kitchen and fridge. Just wish the cabin had recycling! Also, make sure to take any and all food out of your cars! Two of our friends' cars were broken into. The bear was nice enough to use the car door handles instead of breaking the windows, but deployed an airbag and stole the cooler.

We had a great experience! The cabin was great and enough space for our family of five. Very clean and well kept. The hot tub was very nice and clean. Kitchen came well stocked with everything we needed. Nice mostly private front and backyard. Would stay here again. Location was easy to find. Would be great for summer as well. The lake is literally almost across the street. Staff was very kind. I wish they had a crock pot available but still a great place. The stairs are very steep so if you have toddlers just be aware. But this cabin was great for the price! Highly recommended! :)

The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The jacuzzi is a big plus. Thanks for a great stay!
SSI - Belmont, CA
Cute little cabin! Loved the customer service at the front office and on the phone. They even give you a complimentary bottle of wine! Easy access to the lake, downtown and ski resorts. Biggest perk was the hot tub, essential for Tough Mudders like us. Only drawback was the extremely small living room, not a good place for large groups to gather.

Quaint and comfortable family size cabin nestled in the woods among other beautiful homes. We took a weekend vacation and stayed here and enjoyed every minute of our time in this home. The Hot tub was a welcome break from a busy day of bike riding and beach fun. Ample room to handle my family of 6. It was clean and the folks at LTA welcomed us with a nice bottle of red wine and great recommendations on wonderful dining experiences. Close to the beach, Tahoe City and Carnelian Bay as well. I would recommend this home to anyone that is looking to stay in the area and would easily stay here again given the opportunity.

We rented this house for a little family vacation time and were not disappointed. We had grandparents, parents(us), teens and twin toddlers all fitting nicely in this cozy property. The upstairs has two of the larger bedrooms, along with a beautifully remodeled bathroom (complete with river rock floor in the shower). The only downside was that the roof style meant that the ceilings were slanted and it was quite easy to bonk your head if you were not careful (yes, it did happen). The downstairs has the 3rd bedroom and the 2nd nicely remodeled bathroom. The only true downside is the kitchen as it is likely the original and still in need of a remodel (there is no dishwasher). To our surprise, however, the oven (probably also an original from the 60's) worked VERY well. We used it nightly for our dinners. The backyard of this property is wonderful! The hot tub was such a treat and was perfect for relaxing under the stars. The deck is fabulous and there is a lot of space to explore. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a good value, nice, cozy ambiance and a short walk down to the lake.- Lake Tahoe Accommodations staff, Posted: 04/10/2018
UPDATE December 2013: We're happy to let you know that the "only true downside" is now and "upside". The owners have added a dishwasher! We hope you'll be back to visit soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay, only half a mile from the house I grew up in at Cedar Flat. The house was very cabiny and cozy but had all the amenities we needed and was clean with everything in good working order. The bedrooms were ample and the bathrooms updated. We hope to make this an annual stay now that we've found someplace so close to where all of my family stays.
Tobias D - Vienna
We absolutely loved the cabin - we were 5 guys, writing screenplays in the cabin, and had a ton of fun. The people at the office were super nice and even gave us two complimentary bottles of wine! The house was clean and is a really cute place to stay at - we BBQed every single day! On the 6th day, we started to have a few troubles with the jacuzzi because so much water evaporated since we spent most of our waking time in there. ;-) A great place to stay, highly recommended! We loved how the house is deep inside the forest but only 3 blocks away from the shore!
Angela - Santa Clara, CA
We fell in love with the hut at first sight. It is so much better in reality than it looked at the web pictures. To have a hot tub was amazing and it is also a very good and big one. The hut is cute from the outside and comfortable in the inside. We had a great time there. The only thing we missed a little was a dishwasher. But actually it wasn't too bad to do the dishes by hand.- Lake Tahoe Accommodations staff, Posted: 04/10/2018
UPDATE: December 2013 No need to do dishes by hand anymore. The owners have installed a dishwasher! Now you'll have more time for the hot tub!
