Many Pros. Great location/neighborhood, and very nice cabin. Loved the wooded area the cabin is located in and especially the views when walking down Skyline Drive. Very close to restaurants , shopping, lakes, trails, bears and not far of a drive to Nevada stateline if you like more city-like activities which we did once. Property was clean and well maintained and check in / out was nearby and a breeze . 2 Cons On days the temp reaches into mid to upper 80's the upstairs gets pretty warm, but opening sliding doors and using fans creates a good cross-breeze and it always cools down at night. Kitchen eat in area is small, and have to split residents across 3 island chairs and 3 kitchen table chairs, rather than have everyone at the table together. I would recommend the cabin and Lake Tahoe Accommodations and would rent the same cabin again.

The house was perfect for a quick get-away vacation to Tahoe. The price per person made it a great value. Don't expect anything too fancy. If you are looking for a decent place to stay with some basic comforts then I would recommend this rental. The internet was fast enough for some of my family members to work and it was close enough to the slopes for the rest of us to go skiing.

Highly recommended, price is right and place is perfectly situated in between places you want to visit in Lake Tahoe. People in the office are accommodating . The only thing not good is that nobody answered the phone that was provided for any assistance.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the deck in front and in back. It was about 15 minutes away from the town. It snowed while we were there and loved every minute of it. We played in the snow. We would stay here again. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking. Thank you.

The cabin was clean, well stocked and very cozy. My now fiance and I stayed here with a few friends and family members on the weekend that we got engaged! This cabin was the perfect place for us to spend time together and tell stories around the fireplace. It had everything that we needed to cook and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

We spent 5 nights in October here during fall break. What a nice getaway. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Great cabin in a quiet neighborhood. We did lots of hiking, went to see the bears eating fish at the nearby Visitor's Center. Ate pizza at Lake Tahoe Pizza Company after our Emerald Bay hike. WiFi was good for my husband who had to check in with work and being able to bring the dog saved us money on the kennel and she had a blast! Thanks for the great rental and wine!

I really enjoyed my stay, and everyone was so friendly. It was the perfect cabin, for a perfect stay. After all the Hurricanes, work, etc.. I couldn't have asked for a better retreat. I grew up in Tahoe. Spent most of my years in Heavenly, and it was great to come back. It has been twenty years. Thank you very much. I will be making this a yearly ritual.. We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin! It was in the woods, covered in snow! My kids were in heaven! It snowed almost the whole time we were there. We felt right at home in the cabin, it had everything we needed to cook dinners. It was great! We loved it! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was wonderful. I loved the a-frame style of the cabin. The kids loved the loft upstairs. The only thing I did not like was that only my truck could fit in the parking space. No other car could fit because of the snow. Would definitely stay again. Plenty of space and beds for a family of 6.

Great location! Close to Casinos. Affordable cabin, exactly how it shows in the website. I like the classic fireplace. It has everything for a small family need. The staff from the Lake Tahoe Accommodations are all very nice, this is actually one of the reason why I kept on coming back to them. Easy and convenient to do reservations online too. Very helpful team.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway and had plenty of room! The house had more then I thought it would with everything we needed in the kitchen as to pots and pan and dishware. The place was cozy and inviting. Only issue is the driveway was really tight for 2 cars. Thank you so much for offering an affordable place.

Great vacation rental ! It really felt like we were coming home after a day of hiking and sight seeing. Had everything we needed and having a full size washer and dryer was a plus. Minutes from downtown but so peaceful at night. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great deal !! Hopefully we will vacation again in the fall/spring and we will defiantly book this home again !! Thanks also to the staff at Lake Tahoe Accommodations South Shore for answering questions I had. My nine year old son had never seen snow and stopping by the agency I was given precise directions to the nearest possible snow spot ! Thanks again for providing a wonderful vacation for my family. We plan on possibly returning in fall/spring and will definitely contact Lake Tahoe Accommodations for our vacation needs !!

I stayed here with my two daughters. This was our second stay here. We enjoyed it more than the first time since this time we had fresh snow! It was a lot of fun for my daughters, 8 and 6 years old. Kids love the attic, they picked beds there and enjoyed the views from the windows up there. It is close to Heavenly, California and shops. I did have to put the chains on after over a feet of fresh snow fell (did not have 4wd car). We had everything we need to cook and eat in. I was able to cook for us for most days. The cabin was clean and everything except the garbage disposal was in working order. Our only other gripe is that the place is dark and the lights do not provide enough light.

We wanted a quiet get away and this was perfect. The house is in a quiet area where people live . A 10-15 min drive to South Lake Tahoe . Looks like a house built in the 70's but well maintained and everything worked well. House was clean and waiting for us. Management was helpful and informed Overall a great experience.

I enjoyed the cabin very much. The pictures online seem to be a bit out of date because there were some updates such as newer carpet, TV and wifi that was not present in the photo's or listed. Customer service was awesome and they even gave us some unexpected goodies for our vacation. Hassle free registration, check in and check out. Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Lake Tahoe Accommodations as well as the cute little cabin we stayed at.

Our experience at Lake Tahoe Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. The only issue we had was that we did not have any phone reception and the phones did not work. This was hardly that big of an issue considering how well everything else went. I would definitely recommend this to others.

We checked it out and someone plugged an "old school" phone into the modem jack. This interfered with the phone signal. We removed it and now the phone is working just fine. Thanks for letting us know.

This cabin was so cozy, beautiful and well kept. It definitely provided everything that we needed. We had a party of 5 adults and 2 children and it fit us comfortably! It is in the woods with neighbors around but it's a very nice and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the cabin as well as our mini vacation in Tahoe! I would recommend this cabin to anyone! We called to see if the unit was available for one more night as we wanted to extend our stay. The fact that we were able to stay an extra night for Super Bowl Sunday for FREE was truley amazing :) Thank you!

Excellent customer service and the description of the property was accurate. Other reviews were very helpful, too. The property was very clean and organized. It is on the small side, but OK. One bathroom is not ideal, but worked out fine. No dishwasher. Very quiet neighborhood. We would stay there again.

We had two teenagers and they loved the upstairs loft. Heater worked great because It was kinda cold in evenings. We went in September. Plenty of room and everything was clean and had plenty of extra blankets. If you like woods and seclusion this is a great place. The one bathroom also was fine I was a little worried at first with one teenage daughter but it worked out perfect.

This place was a little funkier than I expected, but we ended up liking it. All furnishings and decor are circa 1979, but that has its charm. The kitchen had all the cooking and eating stuff we needed. The only real complaint is that the main heating is a wall-mounted heater, so heat was dry and spotty. But if you have a bunch of kids then there's certainly a lot of sleeping space. Be sure to have chains or 4WD to get to it in the wintertime, since the roads are a little squirrelly. Oh, and it would have been nice if the porch were shoveled clear before we got there; we had to do our own shoveling to get the porch gate open all the way. Still this is fairly close to everything without being in the middle of Tahoe madness. We liked it.

We were really impressed when we got to this chalet... everything we needed was there, even more stuff that we needed. They have even a spot in the backyard in which you can slide and play with snow. I would definitely recommend this place for staying, specially if you are considering spend less money (that's because the location was not the perfect one for us, but still is OK if you have a car).

The cabin was exactly as pictured! Plenty of room for our party of 6! Not even the bathroom was an issue.. kitchen was fully functional, didn't have a problem with a thing! Very homey, cozy feeling cabin, made our stay extremely comfortable! Beds were comfy too.. thank you!

My family and I had great time. Actually there was more space than we expected. Cozy, lovely and out there. Everything you need there is provided. Clean and maintained. This is definite recommendation for a small family. This was our first time. Our kids really wanted to enjoy the snow. There was space in the back to slide down. It was ideal. We did not know how to start a fire. But it was prefect.We will be coming back.

We had such a great time! I would rate our vacation as a 10.The reservation was last minute on our part and not a problem with Lake Tahoe Accommodations. The house was clean, warm,and fully loaded with plenty of towels, bedding, wood burning stove and the washer and dryer was a life saver with kids. The space was perfect for our family of 5- the beds are cozy and the living area was great for movies, Yatzee and a warm fire. The neighbors were friendly, including 2 visits from a sweet black lab named Bo. Having a kitchen was a huge money saver. Everything worked perfectly, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and plenty of pots and pans.The location of the house was also a score Minutes from the grocery store, ski rentals, Sierra-at-Tahoe ski area, and much more. I would highly recommend this property to the budget friendly family!

Upon entering the residence we were very pleasantly surprised. Alll we needed were the clothes we had brought with us. Everything else was provided for us: washer/dryer , refrigerator, microwave , TV'S with cable , wood burning and gas heaters. The property is extremely well maintained and clean , this is often not the case with some economy rentals we have used in the past. The property was easy to locate, close to shopping and restaurants approximately one mile from Stateline and the Casinos. If you are on a budget , this is exceptional value for the money. The entire experience was wonderful and most defiantly we will recommend to our friends and be back ourselves as time permits. Extremely quiet location nestled in the trees among other cabins , quiet and peaceful as a vacation should be.
