Great location - close to the village, gated/secure, plenty of room inside for a large group and you can't beat the view with the lake front! Definitely worth the stay!

Great time, great place, everything was perfect

Tahoe Accommodations was excellent and provided great service. The house was a bit dated, but the Location more than makes up for it. The house is a good size and the kitchen is really nice. Since we were so close to the Marina and there were 11 of us, we enjoyed all it had to offer, jet skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and the guys went on a fishing trip. The Marina restaurants were delicious and friendly. We had a blast. Our family will be back to beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Love the place felt like home away from home with a small hint of old school.

Our family of 12 stayed here for 4 nights. The location was fantastic, right on the beach. With young kids we liked the fact that it was shallow for a long distance. We enjoyed stand-up paddle boards, canoeing and swimming. The views were spectacular, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck each evening, enjoying the beauty of the place. The gated community was very private and conducive to pleasant walks. Also it was close to shops, which we walked to. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. The front upstairs bedrooms with balconies were the best, but the other three bedrooms were adequate. I would recommend this house as a wonderful family vacation spot. We all left with many great memories and pictures of a fabulous vacation.

We had a great time. Place was perfect for us, great for the little grand kids and the older great grand parents. The neighbors were very nice. Enjoyed the beach and had a really good time. Very special memories. Thank you, The James Family

My family and I have been meeting in Tahoe for many years now for family reunions. Unfortunately this year, due to our parents age and health they can no longer make the trip, so it was just my sisters and myself. As we often stay in hotels, I wanted to surprise my sisters with a house this year with one that was on the lakefront, yet close to the sites and attractions. I narrowed the search down between this house and another. The differences being that this house was right on the lakefront but not as fancy inside and out (or upscale/modern if you prefer those terms). While the other house was more fancy, it sat back away from the lake with trees obstructing the view of the lake. The other house was slightly more to rent as well. Upon check-in at the office, we were greeted in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly and courteous. We were given a pamphlet with the rules and regulations, some of which were explained to us, and there was information on attractions and such. We were given two sets of keys and the code to the gate (the house is located in a gated community). As a bonus, we were also given a choice of a bottle of wine. As to the house itself, the pictures on the website are current and accurate. It was explained to us that the children who inherited the house are in the process of upgrading it. The kitchen has been remodeled and looks very nice. It has all the items you need for an extended stay. You can cook and store your own meals without the need to eat out all the time. The dining area and living room have varying décor, almost like a ski lodge setting, which is fitting for the area, but the furniture is a bit outdated. As it was chilly in the evenings, we wanted to use the pellet fireplace, but as I have never used one before, it took a bit to figure it out. There is a thermostat you need to program and we eventually found the instructions for the fireplace (a purple binder located in a nook close to the stove). There was plenty of pellets which are located by the stairs. There are also some wall heaters located throughout the lower level to help with the heating, if needed. Another item to mention is that there were four remotes on the coffee table, which was kind of confusing. We found two that would run the TV and cable/sat box. There was also a radio, which we used for out on the deck and there is a CD player as well, which was nice when we were indoors at night. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and well kept. The main floor being a bit outdated, but upstairs they are really nice. The switches on the upstairs bathroom heaters wouldn't turn on or off, but with the upstairs having baseboard heating with thermostat controls, everything stayed comfy. The laundry room looks to have been remodeled too along with a new washer and dryer. For us, the real treat of this house is out back, on the deck. There is patio furniture and plenty of space to sit or lay about. There is also a grill to BBQ on. The view from the deck is amazing! You can see all the way down the south shore and all the up the north shore and you have a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The sunsets from here are just spectacular! The view is pretty much the same from the living room and westward bedrooms too. If you are here when they do the fireworks, you could not ask for a better place to view them from. As it was summertime, we spent most of our time outside on the deck, playing cards and dice games, or seeing the sites and attractions. So we did not spend that much time indoors. That, and the fact that we are pretty much down to earth, the décor of the downstairs was not a negative for us. In knowing that the kids will continue to remodel the downstairs, it can only get better, especially for those who need fancier accommodations. Although, this will probably incur a rate increase. As it stands now, the price is fair for what you get, but you'll be hard pressed to find a place with a better view. We have already agreed to try and rent this house again next year as it was well suited for our needs and we definitely enjoyed our stay here! Highly Recommend!
Lakeside Cabin - Napa, CA
This property was ideally located on the lake and near the venue for our son's wedding activities. It easily accommodated our nine guests. The upstairs bedrooms and bath are nice and newer while the downstairs bedrooms and bath are definitely "cabin-ish." We were not aware when we booked that it was in a gated community and that guest parking was not available. In summary it worked fine for our needs and we would recommend it based on knowing all the facts of rooms and parking.

Best location on the lake.
Juan - Sacramento, CA
Had a great time staying at this location. The property managers accommodated us with early check in so we were able to start relaxing early on in our stay. There was a group of 12 staying here and we all slept comfortably. The location is perfect with the lake at your backyard and a 5 minute cab ride to the casinos. I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list when I head to Tahoe.

This was a great house with a perfect location. They had a beautiful kitchen and a grill out back which was awesome that we could cook from home and relax with the beach so close. I would rent this house again and hope to do so in the summer. Thank you!

This property was perfect for all 9 of us. There was enough room and the kitchen easily accommodated 3-4 of us prepping and cooking at the same time. Being on the lake could not get any better, as we spent most of our time on the deck and the water; the view was more than enough to keep some of us occupied for nearly the entire vacation. Also, we walked to the marina for kayak rentals. I would recommend this property, however the price is lower than other lake front properties because all rooms minus the kitchen are seriously outdated. Also, one huge disappointment for my family was there is only 1 queen bed upstairs; both beds downstairs are doubles (not an accurate count in the room description).Comment from Jimmie MorrisBusiness Owner
Thanks for clarifying the bed situation. We have corrected our error to reflect the current bed count.
