Baldwin Beach

Baldwin Beach is the designated point where Tallac Creek tranquilly releases itself into Lake Tahoe .  This wide beach facing east is bathed in sunshine until the early evening.  Be sure to slather on the sunscreen as the high altitude and reflection off the water are a perfect combination for potential sunburn.  Parking is only $8.00 and is available for the entire day. Paddle boards and kayaks are available from a concessionaire.  Baldwin Beach is the closest launching point to Emerald Bay and is commonly used as such. Bathrooms and barbecues are available, but leave your dog at home.  Dogs  are not allowed at Baldwin Beach.
