Complete peace and tranquility are what you'll find in this authentic log cabin nestled in a stunning forest setting! Constructed almost a century ago, this cabin has been updated and redecorated without compromising the undeniable, mountain-living feel. The old-fashioned stone fireplace, with its crackling logs and glowing embers, will transport you back in time. Snowflakes gently falling outside the window complete this idyllic picture. There are two full bathrooms and a kitchen that was remodelled in the fall of 2000, offering travelers modern amenities while preserving the ambiance of this one-of-a-kind property. The master bedroom features an old-fashioned four-poster bed, and the deck offers a filtered but still breathtaking view of nearby Lake Tahoe. The cabin's location on a quiet dead end street will make you feel a million miles away from the bustling, noisy city you left behind. Check out the Dixie Paddlewheeler, and enjoy a break from cooking at the Zephyr Cove Lodge. Zephyr Cove has areas where you can snowmobile, swim, or head out in your boat for a day on the water. Visit this property to escape city living and return to the simpler times of days gone by!

Everything went well. The cabin was great. It looks like an old log cabin that has been renovated and expanded. They did a fairly good job in keeping the log cabin feel on the extensions. It's really only has two bedrooms as one of the bed rooms is a loft and you have to walk though it to get to the other two bed rooms so don't expect three private bed rooms. There are two bathrooms one up stairs with a shower and one downstairs with an old fashioned style tub which was really cool. There is a washer and dryer, a TV and wireless internet that was fast enough for Skype. The fireplace can be used for heating but there is also a regular heater and a few electric heaters if you need them. I wouldn?t say everything is absolutely pristine but in general it was in very good shape and I was not disappointed at all. Also it?s just a five minute walk to the beach which seemed to be home to a flock of mallards. Some were so accustomed to people they would jump up like dogs to take food from your hand. My four year old had blast with the ducks. Bottom line, I would consider renting it again.

The cabin was very well described and clean. The children loved it. Location can not be better and there are plenty of activities to do around. My only complaint was that since it is an old cabin, it is very noisy at night (squeaky stairs and floors), one of the bathrooms is just for those who want to sit in a bathtub (since the shower head does not stretch long enough- see pics on the website). The rest was all fine and we enjoyed it. We would like to come back. Customer service was GREEAAT. Thank you.

Amazing location! We could not have asked for a better place to rest our heads on our fourth of July vacation! We will definitely be booking with Lake Tahoe Accommodations again!

Lake Tahoe has been one of my favorite destinations in the world. I want to come every winter because it is so beautiful. We were a group of six, and we rented this cabin for the Christmas holiday. It was very easy and convenient to book the cabin online and to check-in. We loved it. It was really nice and the interior was great which added a true feel of vacation. The cabin was equipped with the basic amenities for cooking, laundry, etc, which made our stay very convenient. The only problem was that the wireless internet was not working at the time of our stay and the service provider was not available to repair the problem due to Christmas, but it was quite manageable without it. Overall our stay was very pleasant and the Lake Tahoe Accommodations staff was very cooperative.

Our first time in a cabin in Tahoe. Very nice, just the right size for 4 adults. We would definitely stay there again. It's close to the Lake and Heavenly. Great spot.
