Meeks Bay

Meeks Bay is a great place to park your boat and relax after a nice day of sailing. The bay leads right into the beautiful depths of Lake Tahoe, and attracts both friendly tourists and locals. You'll be hard pressed to find water this clear anywhere else in the world. If you don't have a boat, don't worry.  Meeks Bay is also a very popular beach for land lubbers.  Meeks Bay Resort is run by the local Washoe Indian Tribe and offers plenty of parking, a convenience store and beachside grill, it's a great place to spend the day on the sand.  Bring an inflatable raft and relax on the water in this sheltered west shore bay.
