Please note that parties and group functions, including receptions and weddings, may not be held at this location. This rule is made out of respect for the neighbors, and will be specified in the rental agreement. 4WD is a good idea during the winter months. We enjoyed staying at this rental. The view of the lake can't be beat. The home hasn't been refurbished in a while, but everything was very clean and neat. We probably enjoyed the dining area the best as we could still enjoy the view as well as each others company and the meal. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs apartment which was perfect for us. We never heard the grandkids when they got up too early for everyone.
I would recommend the property to another renter. Because of all the snow, it took a little longer to get to the ski slopes and into Lake Tahoe itself. However, we were very impressed with how quickly the streets and driveway of the rental house were cleared of snow.
