We were having such a wonderful time in Lake Tahoe and the chalet that we extended our stay. The property was as described. Not luxurious, but very clean, comfortable and cozy. It was perfect for us and our two daughters. They would play for hours everyday in the snow on the front deck - right in our sight, while we relaxed in the comfy living room that has an amazing view of the lake. Access to Heavenly skiing couldn't have been more convenient - literally about a two minute drive. The kitchen was well equipped with just about any pan, dish or utensil we could possibly need and the baths had plenty of fresh towels, tissues, etc. Quick access to stores and restaurants. We would definitely return to Lake Tahoe and this property.

Everything was exactly as described. The house was cozy and warm and right up the hill from the California Lodge at Heavenly. We arrived during a blizzard and chains were definitely needed to get to the house. Also the municipal plow plowed us right into the driveway. If you go in the snow, make sure you're ready to do some shoveling!

We are very pleased with the accommodation. It was very clean and cozy. Lots of snow around to play not only the kids but the grown ups. Building snowmen and snow fights. The place is very nice and close to Heavenly. Your employees were also very friendly and helpful. We surely will recommend to friends and will call again on our next snow trip. This was our second year at this property, and we had a wonderful time. Property is just as described - very comfortable and cared for. They supply everything - we have cooked Thanksgiving dinner twice with all the kitchen offers. We has snow, saw a bear down the street (put an end to our BBQ), and so enjoyed the scenery. This home is in a quiet section of the mountain, but yet easily accessible to Stateline and Heavenly shops and activities. We enjoyed the electric fireplace, but would have preferred a wood burning one.

We had the most wonderful time at the little Bavarian home. The description from the website is accurate, and then does not do the vacation home justice. It is clean, well-maintained, and we would recommend the property to others. There is much to do in the area, and the forest land adjacent to the cabin was fun for the children - can't tell you how many imaginary forest animals appeared to their delight. The roads were well kept, and even with a little snow it easy to get around. The rooms were spacious, and the property had all the amenities one would want - with a nice homey touch. If there was one down side it was that the fireplace is not a log burning one - but there was adequate heat and a nice cozy feel to the place. The views are lovely - you see the lake out the front. Customer service was great - we called and things were taken care of for us. We will be back!

We had a great time with our family at this house. The front deck views are amazing of South Shore. The house is kid friendly with games and a little loft area upstaris. Stairs may be a bit steep for very little children. We would rent this property again!

Our family really enjoyed this home. It was nestled right up against the forest. The view was beautiful, and the facility well-maintained. From the moment we picked up the keys, we felt special. There were a few items that needed attention, and the management company was on them immediately.The home has a charm all its own, and the owner appears to take great care. We plan on returning next year.
