Construction on this almost-new home was completed in 2003. Truly amazing, it boasts a kitchen with beautiful hickory and granite, a southwest-facing family room downstairs that gets plenty of warmth and natural light, and a backyard hot tub! The skylights and gas-log fireplace make this home a luxurious and cozy choice. Walk to area shops and restaurants, or drive 10 to 15 minutes to get to beaches, the casino nightlife, or the slopes at Heavenly. This home was built just for you! VRP# 000155

I loved this property! I can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect. The layout of the house is awesome too! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a good time in Tahoe. It's close to the casino's, skiing, and everything else South Lake has to offer.

This property is great. We've stayed in it for a week 2 consecutive years and already booked next year. Here is my breakdown: The Kitchen / Living Room: this is basically a great room setup with a big kitchen and plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen has lots of pots/pans/plates/silverware/etc. which means you can cook large family meals there with no problem (so you don't have to eat out all the time). My only complaint here is that the TV is probably a 19" one. Now I don't go to Lake Tahoe to sit inside and watch television, but we were there during the Olympics and that was disappointing. The Master Bedroom: Huge and nicely appointed. The master bath has separate jacuzzi tub and shower. Very nice. The other 2 bedrooms: very similar in size with a queen bed in each. Other Comments: Hot tub in back yard is nice to have after long days on the mountain. The garage fits two cars and is SO much better than parking on the street. Backyard is average size and fenced in. One complaint is runoff from the roof hits front steps and large ice patches tend to form. The Location: Fantastic! You are a couple of minutes from many very good restaurants on Lake Tahoe Blvd. You are 10 minutes from Heavenly and the casinos. Safeway is about 8 minutes away. The street is quiet with low traffic. You can go on some nice walks directly from the house.
In summary, get a nice HD television and Internet access and I have zero complaints :) I have very few as it is and recommend this property highly.

Very nice house, very spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to prepare meals in. Furnishings were comfortable. A couple of cons were that the electronics were not up to standard with the rest of the house. The stereo and TV were both a cheap afterthought. They should be upgraded to the luxury quality of the rest of the house.
Managers Response: Thanks for your comments. We have passed them along to the owner of the property. Lennette Perry, Operations Manager |

We had a great time. Location was amazing and there was so much room. I would stay here if we ever came back and pay the same price. Everything else was provided so we just needed to bring food.

We enjoyed a great vacation when we stayed at this property. This home is in our favorite part of town, Highland Woods. It is close to bike trails, shopping, a quiet neighborhood, and is equal distance to the casinos and Camp Richardson. The great room was roomy and allowed us to all be together. The house included another living space downstairs so the kids could play video games. We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked and spacious with plenty of dining space. The beds were super comfy. After a long day of biking, the hot-tub was so relaxing. We had a few things we didn't love in this house. The great room furniture was uncomfortable, and the deck in back was small. There are futons for seating in the GR and we would have preferred regular-type couches. The deck was adequate for grilling, but not many people could hang out in the small space. Overall, the property was a great value.

This rental home was clean and comfortable, and nicely furnished. Spacious enough for two families. We enjoyed our stay!
