Solitude and seclusion await in this charming cabin located in a peaceful wooded setting. Away from the noise and bustle of town, this quiet mountain home has a back deck with plenty of places to sit and an enormous wooded backyard. A great place for the kids to explore and play! When you want to get out, a 20-minute car ride will get you to the flashy casino nightlife and the ski hill. Wouldn't it be nice to escape from the world for a little while? VRP# 0369

Me and my Fiancee stayed for two days and two nights at the property in mid August of 2011. This was our first time in Lake Tahoe ever. During our trip, I proposed to her on the back porch of the property and she accepted and we were engaged. Lake Tahoe will hold a special place in both of our hearts forever. Lake Tahoe was so beautiful with the Lake and big tree forest. We hope to vacation in Lake Tahoe in the very near future.

The perfect cabin to have a great family time at any season. It's peaceful, perfectly clean, full kitchen to cook anything you need. 10 min away from the beautiful views of the lake. The only thing that I recommend to the owner is replace the dvd (we couldn't get it to work). But yes, I recommend the cabin to those people who want to forgot the traffic and the stresses of the big city. The customer service was great and the coffee and wine that they gave me were very nice.

This house is basically all you need in Tahoe if your not high maintenance. Comfortable, neat, everything you NEED. Living room area is accommodating for 6. Just a place to come back to, eat, sleep. I knew people who rented this place in the winter for New Years and just stayed there, it was warm and cozy. Stateline is a $30 cab ride away. I rented this cabin for 6 people that didn't fit at my folks place (for 10+ years) on the same street. We love Meyers right off N. Upper Truckee. It is a local secret, you don't have to get stuck in traffic on highway 50 going to the Y. Just take the first left at the bottom of Echo summit and forget the headache of heading into town with all the schmucks. If you coming up for the winter this house is perfect for ski/boarding at Sierra, 15 mins. Kiowa is just a 4 min drive to the Y (the back way-out of traffic). 12 min. to the beach (Richardson resort) and the Local secret beach Kiva (dogs allowed). Fallen Leaf Lake is just awesome, take Tahoe mountain road from the house and its 6min. away. Rent a kayak there, it is gorgeous and a real experience. While your up there go to Lilly Lake next parking lot up an Alpine Tahoe lake that you can drive to. If you don't need a palace with a pool table and a GREAT price this is the place.

Reservation staff pleasant and professional. Cabin clean and open; nice and quiet. Bottle of wine when we arrived was a nice touch.

The house is small but really nice, The area where it is located is close to town, so that was convenient. We had a great time. Now the cons. The heater was noisy every time it came on. The other little problem was the driveway was full of snow an in this area you can't park out on the street. So I had to get out and clean the driveway.
Managers Response: We're glad you enjoyed your vacation and the location of this cute house. The wall heater makes noise as they normally do. It's just that the house is so small and the heater is right there in the middle right next to the bedrooms. We did dispatch snow removal service the morning of day of your arrival as a storm had dropped a good 10". It could be that you arrived at house before service had gotten there to clear the driveway. Hope you were able to have fun in snow! Lennette Perry, Operations Manager |

Very quiet neighborhood. Out of town, but 10 minutes to the 'Y'. We liked it for the price. The TV could use upgrading, or at least more instruction on how to use the current one. I would certainly stay again, it was nice.
Managers Response: Thanks for the comments Jeff! I've instructed our maintenance department to provide the necessary instructions for the TV, and to evaluate the situation and recommend an upgrade as needed. Lennette Perry, Operations Manager |

Awesome house/cozy cabin and location. Almost more than we needed, and we loved every bit of it. We plan to revisit. We brought our 3 month old and had a great time.

Had a great time with daughter, son-in-law & 4 & 8 year old grandkids. We went so the kids could enjoy their first stay in snow, & they just loved it. Didn't want a fancy hotel or city distractions. The place was warm cozy cabin, out of the city, just as we wanted. Everything we needed was there. The town of South Lake Tahoe was close enough for quick trip for any supplies we forgot. We built a snowman, snow fort, and went sledding on the hill around the corner. There was a huge snowstorm while we were there - it was beautiful. Boy did those kids like the snow. Great fun. Would love to do this again.
